Hi Dream10 ,
Not sure how far along this journey you are? I am on session 6. In my experience so far I can empathise with you. It can feel like your whole life is overtaken by SA. That there is no end to it. Fatigue, anxiety, nervousness and depression. Your past, present and future thoughts all revolve around SA and what it has done/doing and will do to your life.
After several weeks of gloomy anxiety ridden days. Believing there would be no end to this. I will be the one exception to the therapy. I can now see a big difference. I experience longer periods of positivity, confidence and relaxation. The panic has reduced massively and I bounce back a lot faster if I have a setback.
I found some elements of the therapy can take a little while to sink in and it took me a bit of time to find the balance between the cognitive learning, behavioural practice and general relaxing/calming down and switching off.
If you stick with it, you will soon begin to understand that you can have a great and happy life and leave those lying ANTs behind.
All the best,
