I'm confused on how to use a distraction when I'm having a conversation with someone. I experience ANTs when I'm in a conversation with someone and afterwards when I replay that conversation over and over again in my head. I can't just get up and start doing something else when I'm in the middle of a conversation. I can't focus on something else, because I need to be present in the conversation... Then I just end up becoming more aware of my ANTs and my anxiety rises. (I tend to blush in these situations, and think I have developed a fear of blushing. Sometimes I won't say anything in conversation because I am worried that I will blush.) Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions of distractions to use in these situations?
