I do most of my working out in my home, although I try to go out hiking every week or two because I do enjoy the outdoors. I do not like the gym, though. It's too crowded, I feel self-conscious, and I don't like the sound of the tv's, music, and exercise machines. I feel that for me, being outdoors is therapeutic not only for my body but for my mind as well. So next for me is going to be getting out there more-it's something I need to work on. I agree that even just simple hello's or smiling with people who hike by is a good start and it helps you feel good as you start your day. It's minimal interaction, but it's interaction nevertheless. I guess it'll be part of my behavioral therapy.
