thats pretty much what social anxiety is all about. not sure how that diagnosis you have came to pass, maybe there was something else?
otherwise, i think psychotic symptoms are somewhat common in people that have major depressive or manic episodes. merely being a bit paranoid isnt necessarily a symptom altho the lines may be blurred. technically, thinking that people are judging you all the time is highly irrational thinking but its not of the same quality as thinking that the cia is monitoring you
(nor is, for those who suffer from sa, negative irrational thinking necessarily limited to social situations only)
anyways, the therapy will certainly be useful to you and things will likely become clearer.
