I was at university today and the lecturer just started her lecture. As soon as I looked up I could see all of her neck and face was bright red bloodshot. She is a fairly attractive woman and didn't show any of these symptoms when she walked into class. However when she just started this lecture then BOOM her face went so red. 2 mins into her introduction to the lecture she said these words... "Oh and by the way, I go really really red when I give talks or do anything I need to really concentrate on, so don't worry about me or think I am going to blow up.... it goes like that when I drink red wine also (class chuckles)."
She came across so honest and credible, and was in fact a great lecturer. I think we need to take a leaf out of her book as to our approach to our visible symptoms. She had no intentions of keeping her symptoms secret and she certainly did not resist them either. Just thought I would share
