Hey everyone. Just thought I would post an update on the group calls. We have been having a weekly group call now for 2 years. Wow. We have a lot of fun as we support each other and work on behavioral activities when we feel ready. Our groups are averaging 8 or so people on the call which allows for good group chat and communication. The calls are helpful and motivating to us. We are always looking for new people to join us on the calls. The Skype calls may not have all the advantages of a local group but we have found ways to overcome these shortcomings and make progress on our social anxiety. We offer participants the chance to read a handout, make introductions, impromptu questions, speeches, job interviews, small talk, role play, karaoke as well as any other activities we come up with. We also have discussion topics on subjects relating to anxiety and personal growth. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us for a call. We also have a text chat only section where we can chat anytime, as questions or just encourage each other on this journey.
