I am an extrovert and before I got social anxiety, I used to enjoy talking. It is possible that the online therapy by the Social Anxiety Institute, or anything, really, will get me back to what I was before?
Yes, cognitive-behavioral therapy, whether online here or with a therapist is the best way (if not the only way) to overcome SA.
If you go through with the therapy, you will learn that thoughts like that (e.g. Will I ever be like I was before?) are the root cause of the anxiety to begin with.
Hope this helps
ok. just curious, are you one of the staff, or a normal member of the community?
And thanks for your advice
