I was wondering if anybody can inform me about physical health in relationship to social anxiety. I'm doing well building myself up with activities, making friends etc and now wonder what would happen if/when I would start living with people daily, regularly. What that would do to my anxiety and especially if it would be a problem if I continue having anxiety for my physical health.
I've noticed that when I go to an event where I meet people for a couple of hours a day, I'm happier when I get home for a while. This leads me to think that my health is actually better when meeting and interacting people despite of having anxiety.
I hope to get some scientific and/or experiential advice. If like my health risk would go up 60% that would still be fine I suppose. I'm a young guy, dr Richards made it till his 40s with anxiety not having too much health problems (I think?) that's an encouraging start.
Anybody working 5(+) days a week? Or living with people while having anxiety? Is that doable?
Thanks in advance.
